Who these terms apply to

These Terms of Service govern your use of valhersc.com and all tools, pages, and services offered by VALHER Strategic Counsel including the FORGE Quiz, FORGE Personal OS, and FORGE for Good trial program.

What this service is

VALHER Strategic Counsel provides advisory and educational tools focused on career preparation, organizational strategy, and workforce development. The FORGE Personal OS tool generates AI-assisted career analyses based on information you provide.

These tools are educational and informational in nature. They are not a substitute for professional career counseling, legal advice, or human resources consultation. Results generated by AI should not be the sole basis for any career or employment decision.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login links and account access. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or applying for a trial.

Free tier

Free users may run one analysis per month. Free analyses are provided as-is with no guarantee of availability or continuity. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time with reasonable notice.

Premium subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate displayed at the time of purchase. You may cancel at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

If your payment fails your account will be downgraded to the free tier until payment is resolved.

FORGE for Good trial

The FORGE for Good trial is available to individuals working in qualifying public service roles including military, government, nonprofit, education, and healthcare. Eligibility is determined at our discretion.

The trial provides 60 days of premium access at no cost. At the end of the trial period your account automatically reverts to the free tier unless you subscribe.

A discounted rate of $6 per month is available exclusively to FORGE for Good members who subscribe before their trial expires. This rate is permanent for as long as the subscription remains active. The discounted rate is not available after the trial expires and cannot be retroactively applied.

We reserve the right to revoke trial access if we determine eligibility information was inaccurate.

Your content

You retain ownership of the resume content, job descriptions, and other information you submit. By submitting content you grant VALHER Strategic Counsel a limited license to process that content for the purpose of generating your analysis.

You also grant us the right to use anonymized and aggregated data derived from your inputs for research, product improvement, promotional materials, and marketing purposes. This includes but is not limited to case studies, product demonstrations, marketing copy, and academic or industry research. We will never identify you personally in any research, promotional, or marketing output without your explicit written consent.

Intellectual property

The FORGE OS framework, FORGE Quiz, FORGE Personal OS, FORGE for Good program, PERL outcomes framework, and all associated content, methodology, and branding are the intellectual property of VALHER Strategic Counsel. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

AI-generated content

Analyses generated by FORGE Personal OS are produced using artificial intelligence. AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. VALHER Strategic Counsel does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content. You use this content at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VALHER Strategic Counsel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Connecticut.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
