What we collect and why

When you use the FORGE Quiz, FORGE Personal OS, or any other tool on this site, we may collect the following:

• Email address. Used to identify your account, send login links, deliver your results, and communicate with you about your trial or subscription.
• Resume content. Used solely to generate your FORGE career analysis. Resume content is processed by an AI model to produce your results and is not shared with third parties or used for advertising.
• Job description content. Used solely to generate your FORGE career analysis alongside your resume.
• Quiz responses and results. Used to personalize your career analysis and build your FORGE profile snapshot.
• Profile information. Current role, target role, industry, and career goals you choose to enter. Used to contextualize your analyses and improve your experience over time.
• Application information. If you apply for FORGE for Good, we collect your name, organization, job title, how you heard about us, and your career goal. This information may be used for marketing, outreach, and internal research to understand our user base.
• Payment information. Processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details.

How we use your data

• To deliver the services you requested.
• To send transactional emails including login links, trial confirmations, and renewal reminders.
• To improve FORGE OS using anonymized and aggregated data. Individual identifying information is not used in research outputs.
• To communicate with you about VALHER services if you have opted in or applied for a trial.
• To understand who uses our tools so we can build better products and reach similar audiences.
• To create promotional materials, case studies, and marketing content using anonymized and aggregated insights derived from user data. Individual identifying information will never appear in promotional or research outputs without explicit written consent.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. Ever.

We use the following third party processors to operate the service:

• Cloudflare. Hosts our website and database infrastructure. Data is stored at the edge on Cloudflare's global network.
• Google Gemini. Processes your resume and job description to generate your analysis. Inputs are sent to Google's API and are subject to Google's data use policies.
• Stripe. Processes payments for premium subscriptions. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
• Resend. Delivers transactional emails. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for the purpose of sending you messages you requested.

How long we keep your data

We retain your account and analysis history for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for research and product improvement.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, request correction of inaccurate data, or request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected].

Data security

Your data is stored in Cloudflare's D1 database infrastructure. We use encryption in transit and access controls to protect your information. No system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This service is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
